Designed by a chiropractor for chiropractors, the iTrac® Cervical Curve Remodeling System is a modern and effective tool for restoring cervical curve and reducing forward head posture. The iTrac®’s patented high-tech design features computer control of the advanced therapy logic, and its patient-pleasing comfort includes gentle pneumatic administration of traction. Combined, this system works to enhance the modern physical medicine clinic.

More than ten years of research and development by industry expert Dr. Jarrod Nichols went into the system software and hardware design, with a focus on advanced technology and effective, measurable and consistent structural correction, increasing the standards for cervical curve restoration.

“The iTrac Cervical Curve Remodeling System is the Rolls Royce of cervical traction. The iTrac technology allows my patients to tolerate the treatment so much more than with conventional cervical traction methods which, ultimately, has translated into better patient compliance with treatment plans and better results. I have had a few patients fall asleep while undergoing treatment on the iTrac. Based on my experience, I highly recommend the iTrac for any office!”
- Cameron Bigge, DC

Dr. Hansraj states in his preamble, “Billions of people are using cell phone devices on the planet, essentially in poor posture. The purpose of this study is to assess the forces incrementally seen by the cervical spine as the head is tilted forward, into worsening posture.”

Dr. Hansraj is an M.D. specializing in spine surgery and rehab in Poughkeepsie, New York. It is important to note that that his phrase, “Loss of the natural curve of the cervical spine” is medically synonymous to the “reduced cervical lordosis/extension” found in the iTrac’s Indications for Use statement, copied here directly from the FDA document: “The iTrac c2i cervical traction system is intended for use as a conservative treatment alternative in patients presenting with cervicogenic pain symptoms of mechanical origin related to reduced cervical lordosis/extension and altered posture. It temporarily positions the cervical spine into an extension posture of varying degrees, as determined by a clinician. This device is for prescription use only and is not provided in a sterile condition.”

Dr. Hansraj also clearly defines the adverse effects of loss of healthy cervical curvature. “Loss of the natural curve of the cervical spine leads to incrementally increased stresses about the cervical spine. These stresses may lead to early wear, tear, degeneration, and possibly surgeries.”

To our knowledge, the iTrac is the only computerized device available that has been cleared by the FDA and is intended specifically to correct this “loss of natural curve of the cervical spine”/”reduced cervical lordosis/extension”.

Is text messaging damaging your spine Chiropractor Jennifer Jara explains text neck the decrease of the normal healthy curvature of the spine which over time can lead to a flat neck and is often caused by the position in which people use their cell phones

Chances are you're watching this while leaning over a table or slumped back in a chair. The position you're in is probably causing you pain, whether you're aware of it yet or not. CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta explains the effect "text neck" is having on our bodies.
